WOW!!!  Thanks to everybody that picked up a pre-sale unit, we sold out of them.  We are hoping to ship within that 60 day window which puts the ship date some time in October.  These 1st 100 will go into the wild, I will most likely order another 250 or so, but I also want to do a 45ACP, 38 Super Comp, and a 38 Special to help support the S.A.S.S. community.

I’m also planning on a 223 carbide sizing die as well as a 308 Win, and some others.  We will focus on popular rounds that are processed as well as stuff I shoot because…well I want carbide dies for the stuff I shoot like 6.5 Grendel.  I probably won’t focus on PRS rounds, between Area 419, and Eric Cortina they have some really good products if you are looking for PRS stuff.

Who’s going to pay $190 for a carbide sizing die???  NOT US!!!

After 44 weeks of development we finally came to a grind profile that we like.

The F.W. Arms™ Carbide Hybrid Profile Sizing Die is a full length 9mm sizing die that will give you the best of both worlds:  Great Neck Tension and almost no “bottle” profile.

Our carbide sizing ring is positively held into place with our tool steel nose.  Each die will be outfitted with a popper style decapper and have the ability to add-on our Dynamic hold down assembly so you can size over swage if you like.  More pictures to come.

Full disclosure, the steel die pieces are U.S.A. made, as they are machined right here in Las Vegas with our in house CNC machines.  The carbide is an import at the moment, we are actively looking for a US source for all of these that won’t break the bank, ours or yours.
