The F.W. ARMSTM line of Auto-Center Decapper are ONLY to be used to remove SPENT primers. Use of this product in any other way may cause injury.
!!! DO NOT USE PRODUCT TO REMOVE LIVE PRIMERS !!!
Always wear eye protection when using the F.W. ARMSTM Auto-Center Popper Decapper.
Leave the decapping station on your tool head empty with no die installed.
Place a case that needs decapping in the press in the decapping station, place press ram in full decapping position (either up or down).
Screw in the F.W. ARMS™ decapper until you feel the tip touch the primer, it will get tougher to screw the die in. The centering shuttle will push up into the black die body.
Keep screwing F.W. ARMS™ decapper into the tool head until spent primer pops out (you may hear a pop depending on how tight the primer is in), keep screwing die in by hand until the die bottoms out.
Back die out 1 turn and tighten the supplied nut to the tool head.
Your F.W. ARMS™ decapper is ready to use.
Repeat these steps for each caliber you process.
When replacing a tip, ensure new tip does not extend into the conical section of the centering shuttle.
